THE STAGE HOUSE
422 Tranquille Road, Kamloops, B.C. V2B 3G8
The Kamloops Players have been located at the Stage House for the past seven years. We are always in the process of upgrading our space, it is a work in progress, but we have appreciated having this space in which to rehearse and perform. We also appreciate our close association with Hatsuki Sushi, with whom we share the building.
The Stage House is available for use by different groups for a variety of events at a reasonable cost.
Our space has two entrances from outside, one leads into the main hallway leading to the theatre proper and one leads into our lobby area. The street entrance into the main hallway provides wheelchair access to the theatre and lobby areas.
Our theatre area is versatile. We have 24 tables and 75 chairs which can be set up bistro style or alternatively the chairs can be set up in rows. We can provide basic tablecloths for the tables.
The theatre area contains both a mens' and womens' washroom and a small green room leading to the stage.
For stage performances we have lighting and sound equipment that is included in
the cost of using the theatre space.
The lobby area has a washroom and a small kitchen area with a serving bar to the lobby. This space is perfect for workshops and meetings for approximately 24 people sitting at tables.
The Stage House Space is used least during the daytime hours and makes a perfect venue for workshops and meetings that could possibly be used on an ongoing basis.
